Bristol Myers Squibb is a platinum sponsor of LabCentral, an innovative, shared laboratory space in Cambridge, MA designed as a launchpad for life-science and biotech start-ups. Bristol Myers Squibb is sponsoring a contest to award two “Golden Tickets.” A Golden Ticket at LabCentral (Cambridge, MA) covers the cost of one 6-foot lab bench and one resident scientist fee for one year.
Bristol Myers Squibb is now accepting applications for its 2020 Golden Ticket Program until August 10, 2020. Companies engaged in therapeutic research in the fields of oncology, hematology, immunology, cardiovascular disease, neuroscience or fibrotic diseases are encouraged to apply, as are those pursuing research in novel target identification, drug delivery, discovery technology platforms or translational R&D. ??
A Golden Ticket at LabCentral (Cambridge, MA) covers the cost of one 6-foot lab bench and one resident scientist fee for one year. To submit an application to the Contest, please review the Official Rules, download and complete the attached Contest application form, including a brief, non-confidential pitch deck, and submit to startup.submissions@bms.com by 11:59 PM on August 10, 2020. ??
A sub-set of applicants will be identified by Contest Judges as semi-finalists.? Semi-finalists will participate in an interview with the Bristol Myers Squibb Golden Ticket Contest Committee, to be held approximately during the week of September 14th.? A sub-set of semi-finalists will be identified by Contest Judges as finalists, and they will present their concept at a virtual Pitch Showcase attended by leaders from Bristol Myers Squibb Discovery and Translational Medicine, Business Development and the scientific staff at Bristol Myers Squibb Cambridge locations. All presentations at the Pitch Event will be non-confidential and last no more than 10 minutes. The event will be held in a digital format on or around October 15, 2020.
Awardees will be announced following the Pitch Event.
Bristol Myers Squibb 2020 Golden Ticket Contest Official Rules identify the process for selecting the winners of the contest, the judging criteria and other terms and conditions of the Contest. By submitting an application, applicants represent and warrant that they have read and agree to the Official Contest Rules.
